Kent County Council: Following the successful trial of its ‘Freedom Pass’ campaign in 2009, Kent Council have awarded Exact Software Solutions a contract to provide an extension to their existing website to incorporate the official launch of the scheme. This will include a number of new features, including: a debit card payment area, bus pass renewal system and the ability for people to upload their photos for their passes online.
March 2010:Exact Software Solutions receive Proof of concept request for traffic system: A traffic and survey data collection company has engaged Exact Software Solutions to create a Proof of Concept system for their business. They would like Exact to help them to use PDA’s to manage the distribution of data collection boxes and improve operational efficiencies, including recording longitude and latitude readings and take photographic proof of box locations. The data would then allow the company to easily see at anytime where their boxes were located so that installations and pick-ups can be co-ordinated cost-effectively.
